The bribery of foreign public officials and officials of public international organizations was reported to be covered by articles 347 and 348 CC, as the definition of an “official person” expressly includes “a foreign civil servant, a representative or an official of a foreign representative body and an official of an international organization of which the Republic of Croatia is a member …”. However, the scope of this definition was seen by the reviewers to be narrower than the UNCAC definition in article 2, subparagraph (c), being limited to international organizations of which Croatia is a member.
