Article 325 of the Criminal Code uses the terms “promising”, “offering” or “giving” a bribe to a public person or foreign public person. Accordingly, article 324 refers to “requesting”, “accepting” or “receiving” services, privileges or advantages. Both articles 325 and 324 of the Code cover the direct and indirect commission of bribery
offences.
