Specific protection for whistle-blowers is contained in the POCA 2010. In addition, further comprehensive whistle-blower protection arrangements are contained in the Protected Disclosures Act 2014. The Act is extraordinarily broad in its personal scope of application. It covers all employees, whether in the public or private sector. The Act does not include a public interest or good faith requirement.
